BYM Reborn is an independent preservation and revival project dedicated to restoring the original 2010 Flash strategy game, Backyard Monsters. Our goal is to rebuild the server systems that powered the game and give players an experience that feels as close as possible to the original backyard battles they remember. With the support, testing, and feedback of our growing community, we have restored a large portion of the game and continue building on that foundation. Whether you are returning to relive the early 2010s or preparing to raise a new monster empire from the ground up, we are proud to welcome you back to the yard. Yes. Backyard Monsters Reborn is playable through our free Windows launcher. Create a BYM Reborn account, link Discord with a verification code, then install the game and start your yard.
This is an independent community project with its own accounts and servers, not an official KIXEYE relaunch. You do not need a browser Flash plug-in.

A few things to know before you
let the monsters loose.
01 How do I start playing?+
Create your account and link Discord with a verification code, then download the Windows launcher. Sign in, install the game, and enter your yard.
02 Is BYM Reborn free to play?+
Yes. You can download the launcher and play for free. Optional Shiny bundles and D.A.V.E. Club membership are available in the shop.
03 Can I play on Mac or mobile?+
The current launcher is for Windows. You can use this website on any device to manage your account, check the leaderboards, and visit the shop.
04 What is BYM Reborn?+
An independent, community-driven revival of the classic Backyard Monsters experience. Familiar yard-building, monster-raising strategy, with a new home. Read our story.

- Return here. Wait for Discord linked, or select Check status. Then open the launcher and sign in with this account.
Joining the Discord server alone does not link your game account. Only the verification code goes into Discord, never your game password.
Get the Windows launcherIn Discord, use /verify in #register-account and paste this code. It links only your signed-in Backyard Monsters Reborn account. Never share it or enter your password in Discord.

Give a player complimentary membership. No payment or subscription is created.

Shiny spending
Lock Shiny spending in BYM Reborn. You can still earn Shiny and receive your D.A.V.E. Club bonuses; your balance is preserved.
While locked, the game shows no spendable Shiny. Turn the lock off to use your saved balance. Reopen the game after changing this setting.
Invite friends
Share your link. When a new player signs up through it and finishes the tutorial, they count toward your Shiny rewards.
Rewards are earned once per milestone, not per invitation. Existing players do not count.
